Our mission at Summit Stables is for our clients and boarders to have a safe and pleasant time with their horses. We want to provide our clients with a friendly learning atmosphere and where they always feel welcome. Greg Bowman, the owner and trainer, has grown up around horses and has over 30 years training experience. He attributes his unique training method to adapting "relationship skill training" that he taught and used while teaching a magnet program for behavioral problem students. During his 15 years of teaching he realized he could apply these same principles to relating with horses. Thus, his "Dancing with Horses" method was born. That was over 20 years ago. Having a degree in Psychology, as well as teaching, has not only added to his long time practical knowledge of "horse ways", but has made him an excellent communicator of this method to others. Being a natural teacher, Greg's greatest joy is to see his clients truly "Dance with their horses". He gives 150% of himself to that pursuit. Being horse lovers we at Summit Stables do everything possible to maintain the health and well being of all the horses, ours as well as our clients. Every horse is part of our family at Summit Stables. We are strong individuals dedicated to our clients and their horses.
